Tendr ("we", "our", "us") operates the tendr.ng website and platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service.

Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, phone number, business name, and trade category.
Business Information: Business address, logo, bank details (for display on your invoices), CAC registration number, and website URL.
Client Data: Names, email addresses, and phone numbers of your clients that you enter when creating quotes, invoices, and receipts.
Usage Data: We automatically collect information about how you interact with the platform, including pages visited, features used, and timestamps.
Payment Information: Payment transactions are processed by Paystack. We do not store your card details. We store transaction references and subscription status.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Tendr platform
- Create and manage your account
- Process your quotes, invoices, and receipts
- Send you notifications about quote activity (viewed, accepted, declined)
- Send service-related emails (account confirmation, password reset, plan expiry)
- Process payments through Paystack
- Respond to support requests
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- Supabase: Database hosting and authentication
- Vercel: Application hosting
- Resend: Email delivery service
- Paystack: Payment processing
- Cloudflare: Security and bot protection
Your business information and logo are displayed on quotes and invoices you share with your clients — this is the core purpose of the service.
5. Data Security
We take the security of your data seriously. We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication, parameterized database queries to prevent injection attacks, and strict access controls. Your password is hashed and never stored in plain text. While we follow industry best practices, no online system can guarantee absolute security — and we are transparent about that.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days. Quotes and invoices you have shared with clients may remain accessible via their share links until deleted.

You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your account and associated data
- Export your data

8. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use Cloudflare Turnstile for bot protection, which may set its own cookies. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
