About Tendr

Tendr is a web app for small and medium-sized businesses in Nigeria. It lets you create professional quotes, invoices, and receipts with your logo and business details, then share them with clients via WhatsApp, email, or a branded link. Clients can accept or decline online. Accepted quotes auto-generate invoices. When paid, you issue a receipt. Everything is saved and tracked.

It is built for people who run real businesses but may not have a formal office, letterhead, or accounting setup. Tailors, caterers, photographers, plumbers, mechanics, bakers, graphic designers, and many more. Tendr gives their paperwork the same professional look and feel as their actual work.

Free to start. Pro is ₦2,000/month for unlimited documents, PDF downloads, sharing, and tracking.

The Role

We need someone to build Tendr's social media presence from scratch and turn it into a channel that gets people to sign up and use the product.

This is a bootstrapped, early-stage product. No big team, no agency, no large budget. You will work directly with the founder and own the social strategy end to end.

What You Will Do

Create Content (No Face Needed)

The main content format is screen recordings of the product. Record a phone screen showing someone creating a quote, adding their logo, sharing the link, and what the client sees when they open it. Add text overlays, captions, and a trending sound using free tools (CapCut, TikTok editor, Canva). That is the content. The product is the star.

Beyond screen recordings:

  • Static posts and carousels (Canva or similar — free tools only)
  • Memes and relatable Nigerian humour about running a small business
  • Side-by-side comparisons: what a WhatsApp text quote looks like vs. what a Tendr quote link looks like
  • Screenshots of the client-facing quote/invoice page

The content angle is not "you have a problem." It is aspiration and identity:

  • "You don't need an office to look professional"
  • "This is what your client sees when you send a Tendr quote"
  • "Same work. Different impression."
  • "Your paperwork should match the quality of your work"
  • "₦2,000/month to present like a company"

Post Across Platforms

  • TikTok (screen recordings with text/sound, no face)
  • Instagram (Reels, Stories, carousels, feed posts)
  • X / Twitter (short posts, threads, engagement)
  • Facebook (posts, engaging in relevant groups naturally)
  • WhatsApp Status (reposting content for visibility)

Grow the Accounts

  • Post consistently (3–5 times per week across platforms)
  • Engage with comments and DMs
  • Participate in online spaces where Nigerian small business owners are active
  • Use trackable signup links so we can see what is working

Report Back

  • Simple weekly update: what was posted, what performed, signups from social, what to try next
  • No need for fancy reports or dashboards

What We Need From You

Must-Have

  • You understand how Nigerian business owners talk and what they find relatable online
  • You can make clean, engaging short-form content using free tools (phone screen recording, Canva, CapCut) — no fancy equipment
  • You can write short, clear captions in English and Pidgin where it fits
  • You are self-motivated — you come up with ideas, make the content, post it, and tell us how it did. No hand-holding.
  • You are straightforward about what is working and what is not

Nice-to-Have

  • You have managed social media for a product or brand before
